Equal balance

And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised. (Hebrews 6:15)

In God's Word, you will take in that you are to patiently wait on God, and you will also take in, that God is saying to move, to act, to believe enough to get moving.

Once upon a time, I only waited and never daringly through my faith moved. Now I'm all about moving, and being daring. The desire of God for us, from both ways of looking to Him, is to patiently wait for Him to say it's time to act now. I'm steadily learning this.

Equal balance is the key *I'm in prayer for this, and need prayer for this*

Addictions

This morning I had the great pleasure to have these words said to me 'You are obsessed! You are addicted to Twitter and facebook. You are addicted.'

I responded with this 'I'm not addicted. They're many people I speak to. Ministry doesn't stop.' Praise God!

The words directly above are straight up from the Lord as He said to the Pharisees (Religious leaders of Law in those times) 'But Jesus replied, "My Father is always working, and so am I."' (John 5:17) Amen!

So, this is what the Lord placed into me. Paul's words as he quoted Isaiah, and Hosea. Love it!

1 Corinthians 15:53-58

53 For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies.

54 Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, ( Isaiah 25:8) this Scripture will be fulfilled:

"Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?" (Hosea:13:14)

56 For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. 57 But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.

So, I thought of how we all have addictions, and they are either good or bad addictions. You may ask, how are addictions good or bad? Anything that produces complete peace is good, and anything that produces stress is bad.

Here are my addictions: Always for the Glory of the Father, the good of the Kingdom of heaven; the Good News of Christ the Lord!, and the good for all mankind. Amen!

•I am addicted to oxygen. Without it I will surely die.

•I am addicted to God, and His free gift of Grace. Without Him, I will surely die!

•I am addicted to the Lord Jesus, and His example of Truth and Love. Without Him, I will surely die!

•I am addicted to the free gift of the Holy Spirit in receiving and declaring, that Jesus is Lord! and my personal Savior, and Savior for all. Without Him, I will not know my Lord, and my great Father; my God, and I will surely die!

•I am addicted to the call, to Obey my God, follow my Lord Jesus, and Shepherd His children. Without this purpose, I will surely die! For apart from the Lord Jesus, from the Grace of God, I can DO NOTHING! Amen!

A sinner's prayer for Salvation

If you are feeling a nudge in your heart that has you knowing there is more, and something is missing from your life, and a voice in your heart is speaking lightly to you saying 'I'm what you are missing. It's time,' then I invite you to pray this prayer for Salvation quietly and sincerely:

Lord Jesus. I repent of my sins. Come into my heart. Wash me clean. I make you my Lord & Savior. Amen.

The Bible teaches that once you have embraced Jesus as Lord and Savior over your entire life, all of heaven applauds you.

I don't know if you ever received or witnessed a standing ovation, but it's overwhelming. Just imagine, heaven applauding for you and your decision right now.

Weakness into His Victory: To the dogs

Luke 6:37-38 (New International Version, ©2010)

Judging Others

"Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

I read these words and I can't help to be convicted by them. When looking to humanbeings we can easily apply these words of orderly living, but even animals shouldn't be judged, condemned, and should be forgiven.

Today, I allowed my situation, surrounding, and circumstance to get the better of me, so when I went to let my mother's dogs out, I yelled at them, because they went crazy from their barking due to their excitement to go outside.

It's humbling to have God's Light shine on you as a spotlight to a prisoner, saying 'If I have not judged harshly on you. If I have not condemned you by your unruly behavior. If I have forgiven your outburst, why don't you do the same?'

It's those things in our lives, and those individuals we may simply disregard because they are not in our lives in a moment-to-moment basis, but that's when God will also say "Uphold my ways."

I thank the Lord for calming me with such beautiful words, and allowing me to share and confess my weakness for today in this moment in order to embrace Him, and His ways as my strength.

I steadily look to God to strengthen and instruct me to be the Environment, and not become my environment.

Now, I will go and apologize to all the dogs...they do understand :)

As I lay my body down to rest, I am reminded of how blessed I am to say "I'm laying my body down to rest." It's a great priviledge to have a soft pillow, a mattress, and a cover to sleep with, while being secured under a solid roof surrounded by four walls, when they're so many humanbeings out there who have not one of the things I mentioned above.

In this country (the U.S.) we have so many freedoms. Two major ones that come to mind: Freedom of Speech, and Freedom of Religion. It's amazing how we can speak basically anywhere we want, however we want, and choose any religion, and how to worship in that religion without worry.

Whereas in other countries, if you were to pray to God, who says you are saved by accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior, you would be tied, gagged, and arrested to most likely never see the light of day again.

It's my prayer that you the reader will be convicted to be unbelievably and overwhelmingly grateful to God, that you live in a country that gives you so many freedoms that you take it for granted.

Why do I say such things? Not because I'm better than you, but rather because I too was once a person who overlooked the blessing and took advantage of my priviledged life, and did nothing but worry about me, me, me all the time.

In order for any of us to make a difference in this world, we must first make a difference in ourselves.

I'm so entirely grateful and thankful to God that I can say…God bless you all.

Alive and Walking

Today's sit down

I was told today that 'we are all hurt people doing life with hurt people, so we're bound to get hurt.' 

Here's the insight: You can choose to dwell on the feeling of being hurt, or choose the choice to Love and not choose to hurt. It's all a choice.

Here's the deeper insight: Love covers a multitude of sins (anything leading to hurt). Choose God overall as God is Love

My Testimony

To all of you, my audience; God's audience, I share my heart with you,
because the love that I have in me for God compels me to do so.

I'm so comitted to God. My heart, and my attention are all to Him, and
it gets stronger by the day.

Indeed, I pray that my path remains very clear, as in my heart and on
my mind is nothing but God, His children, and speaking the Gospel of
Christ to as many of God's children He will place before my path
before my time on this earth is up.

I never shared this with anyone that I can rememer while growing up.
Through my early years I always felt something different about me, and
something reaching out to me.

Low and behold 29 years into my life, it became very clear that it was
God.

I never gave thought to what I wanted to do with my life while I was
in high school, and I always felt lost. All I knew is that I had a
tremendous amount of love in me, and didn't know how to share it.

I went from relationship to relationship, and it still didn't seem as
if the love was being shared correctly. So, I spiraled down my life,
getting older, and feeling like I had no purpose.

When 2006 rolled around, I got a glimpse of what the love in me was
about, I felt something in me, but I refused it. Why? I could blame it
on immaturity of my youth, but I firmly believe I wasn't ready to face
it.

Three years go by, and I found myself leaving my wife; my failed
marriage, and I felt useless. Without wanting to live, yet again. When
I sunk to my lowest, and felt my weakest, that's when the love in me,
became stirred up, and I felt strength to lift my head up, and face
what I wasn't ready to face three years back.

It was God from my beginning. It was always Him. I was created for
Him. That is why the love wasn't reciprocated back to me as I gave it
out. The love I had stored up in me was for God, and what He would
call me to do.

As I type these words of Truth, and Love, my heart beats so rapidly,
as I speak of my beloved; my God.

Maybe what I'm writing seems crazy to you, or maybe not. Either way, I
felt compelled to share this, and I am moved to share it with others,
not only with this written word, but with my voice, my body, my entire
life.

May God grant me the priviledge and honor to write, speak, and teach
His Word to every soul, He has instore for me to meet. Amen!

My prayer for YOU: That God will stir up in you a love and a
purposeful driven life. It's in Jesus name, I pray. Amen!

Verse 29

Today I find myself in the Old Testament portion of my awesome! Bible in the book of Numbers. Chapter 18. Verse 29. It's very interesting and inspiring. Speaking on duties, offerings, and tithes, and so much more. What's so amazing, is that verse 29 "Be sure to give the best portion of the gifts given to you," not only expresses gifts as to what is considered to be of great worth to God's people Israel in the Old Testament, but in this day and age, what's considered of great worth to all of us. 

These words are so relevant still; 'We are to be sure to give the best' of what is of great worth to us. So I thought of what is of great worth to me (and I invite you to do the same) that I can BE SURE to give to the Lord:

My Hopes

all the above listed was created to be and stand for POSITIVE/OUR BEST

Verse 29 says to 'GIVE to the Lord the BEST' but it's a GREAT way to receive it as GIVE BACK (return the favor/blessing) to the Lord as the Word says 'God created everything through him and nothing was created except through him.' (John 1:3)

Why don't we SPOIL God for a change. *Food for thought*

I got to wondering how it feels to be leading a life that you think is heading somewhere but it isn't heading anywhere. It's kind of like leaving a clean home and trudging through sewage all day. Leads to nothing good.

Jesus spoke of such, and the message He was conveying is simply this: If your walk in life is clean, you are clean. *Food for thought*

A sinners Goal and Gratefulness

As I walk around all I see is the fast pace of this world flying by, but I remain focused. Moving forward, with my eyes gazing forward into the great beyond, unknown to the world, but so familiar to me. Yes! It's my Savior, and He continues to say, 'Stay the course child. Victory is at hand!'

Instantly a warmth comes over me and tears swell up in my eyes and I sigh, because my Hero spoke His loving words to Me! Me, a man who is flawed. Thank you my Lord. Thank you.

Your Plan B

'In the darkness we need to continue to believe what God did in the
Light.'

"If you find yourself in your Plan B, don't let go of your Faith, but
look to God, to continue to finish the work He has for you in His Plan

If you find yourself in an area of your life where you went from good
to now what seems bad, and you are no longer in a comfortable state of
living, please, I urge you to not lose hope but place all your faith
in God that He will place His peace into your discomfort and you will
come to no longer just survive but in Christ you will now Thrive.

If you read this, and have found yourselves in a Plan B, my heart goes
out to you all. I know what it is to fear or worry about uncertainties
in life, but I also know what it is to have joy when God meets us in
our uncertainty with His constant certainty. Please continue to
believe that a better way does exist and allow your hope to grab ahold
of God's faithfulness.

The Goose and Gander effect

For much of my life, I have felt a strong sense always pulling me in the other direction then that of those who surrounded me. Many times it created barriers between me and them, and other times, it kept me from harms way, but all the time it was God saying to me 'your way is not their way, and their way is not your way.'

As I grew up and found myself working, or as I heard it "You are now part of the work force," every job that came my way was through someone I knew, and every job I went out on my own to get, always ended up blowing up in my face.

As I thought about this more and more, eventually what was answering my question became more coherent to me, and was saying 'I, will open doors for you, and it will be through My Will and not your own.'

Nothing I would come to do would be by coincidence but by God's grace for those to whom I would pass on a seed of encouragement, hope, strength, and a faith in something greater then myself.

Now, this hasn't always been easy and sometimes the opposition that arose against me, seem to remain in my face trying to get me to back down, to turn around and go back the way I came, and what was speaking into the depths of me, said with a booming voice "Continue moving forward!" so I continued on.

What I've noticed in this world is that many people will try to pass on their way of life, their way of working onto another person, their own beliefs as if it's the only way of living and doing things, and that is simply false.

We are all equipped with certain gifts; talents, that will take us from the beginning of our life all the way to the end of it, and it's my prayer that ALL will come to understand this, and disregard from having others simply try something out for the sake of doing it. It's never a good way to start or end a sentence with "It couldn't hurt," or "You don't have anything to lose."

This is FALSE! It could indeed hurt you, and it may just close an oppurtunity that was opening up specifically for you, and that would indeed cause lost.

As I was receiving these words, my Lord in all His glory lead me to the following words below in order to illustrate the words above:

 John 21:18-24 (New Living Translation)

 ¹⁸ "I tell you the truth, when you were young, you were able to do as you liked; you dressed yourself and went wherever you wanted to go. But when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and others will dress you and take you where you don't want to go." ¹⁹Jesus said this to let him (Peter His disciple) know by what kind of death he would glorify God. Then Jesus told him, "Follow me."

 ²⁰ Peter turned around and saw behind them the disciple Jesus loved (John)—the one who had leaned over to Jesus during supper and asked, "Lord, who will betray you?" ²¹Peter asked Jesus, "What about him, Lord?"

 ²² Jesus replied, "If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? As for you, follow me."²³ So the rumor spread among the community of believers that this disciple wouldn't die. But that isn't what Jesus said at all. He only said,"If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you?"

 ²⁴ This disciple is the one who testifies to these events and has recorded them here. And we know that his account of these things is accurate.

*In (Verse 22) Jesus is illustrating so beautifully I may add, what one individual may do, is not what another individual is to do [The Goose and Gander effect].

*In (Verse 23) The words illustrate very nicely how, many people tend to think they know what is right for others but indeed are very wrong

*In (Verse 24) John Jesus' beloved Disciple, illustrates that what was chosen for him he accepted and lived it.

The advice the Lord gives me and I share with you ALL:

'You can all go around worrying why He/She isn't in the same circumstances you are in, or you can look to me, and trust that whatever circumstance and situation you are in, I have personally placed you there for your own wellfare and benefit.' Amen! *Food for thought*

I pray (Phil 4:4-9) over us all. For everyone in our hearts. Lord, may we always be in joy fixed on you, and thinking of everything that is of excellence from you and through you, that we will keep placing into practice all you have shown us, and continuously thank you for what you have done for us all, as we continue to pray and ask for our needs without worry. In your name Jesus, we pray and say Amen.

Campfire Story

If anyone has gone camping or heard of those who have gone camping, a major part of camping are the campfire stories at night.

A group of individuals surround a campfire and share scary stories, funny stories, even heartfelt stories.

For myself I express to others one of my fondest moments to share, and be a part of and that's the moment someone who was lost became found by receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior, and I have deemed these moments in the lives of His children as the "Campfire Story."

For myself my campfire story started back in January 1, 2006 between 3-4am (the first act), and then it continued July 3rd 2009 late in the night (the second act which was accompanied by a gift that would not leave me or be taken from me).

I am in the middle of act 2 which is the longest act. Act 3 is by far the greatest. I look forward in FAITH for this time to come.

[The Gift that will never leave or can be taken away]

The world cannot receive him, because it isn't looking for him and doesn't recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.

P.O.W.

In much of the Bible you read of war, famine, and genocide. Now the majority of us may never experience such catastrophes of massive proportion, but for so many in our homes, they're wars between families that tear them apart. 

There is such a lack of Respect and Love, that an entire household could go starving (famine) from it. The words that are being spoken between love ones are emotionally killing the bonds that tie them together for good (genocide). 


It's so much to take in, and experience that for those who witness and are collateral damage from such atrocities, tears flow from them daily and especially at night. 

My heart breaks for such individuals who live with this hurt daily (P.O.W.'s) but do not lose heart. There is a Way of Life that is True, that is of such Love that all your sorrows will turn to joy. All your mourning will turn to celebration. Your frown to a smile and this way is JESUS. 

We are all P.O.W.'s but He alone can be our HERO, as He is Mighty to SAVE.

Labels and titles: Strong Talk

Let me start, by thanking you for always being an ear to listen, eyes
to take in, and a heart to receive God's Love. It's my joy and
priviledge to share God's Love with everyone. Thank you for existing
than my purpose can exist. May the Lord bless you all.

Here's a question for all of you to think about, ingest into
yourselves and chew on it for a bit.

If an elderly person, or handicapped person needs assistance crossing
the street, and you yourself decide to help them cross the street are
you considered a "crossing guard," or someone who in the kindness,
generosity, and love in your heart decided to help someone else?

The reason I asked you this question, is to illustrate how the world
will bombard you with titles and labels to make you feel empowered but
we ourselves in our hearts should and must believe that we are always
empowered to do, and be such things in life.

It doesn't take receiving a title of CEO, to be a leader. It doesn't
take a title of CFO, to be more responsible with your finances.

You don't need to be labeled "most likely to succeed," in order to
show success and be successful.

Everywhere you go, you see titles and labels to make someone feel
worthy or successful, or empowered instead of merely someone's
expression of gratitude, thankfulness, and encouragement being suffice.

From parking spots, to plaques on a wall; you will see and probably
have seen "Employee of the month," even "Parking spot reserved for
Pastor," we must all take a good long examining look at ourselves and
say, "What are we teaching those who surround us?"

I myself, looking to God, to become more and more capable and
confirming of the Truth that I am (and all of us are) created in His
image, must never want to be labeled or titled, but rather empowered.

Whether you acknowledge it, or voice it, even a man/woman after God,
can be labeled as a "Christian," rather than being known as someone
who follows Christ.

I live a life to say and show that I'm a Christ follower because I
follow His example, His ways of Love, His Life and making known to all
who were placed before Him, that God is whom He serves.

Therefore I say onto you with a grand Love in my heart for all of you:
What are you following, and will it be enough to follow it without
wanting a label or title, to make you feel better or more superior?

I ask myself that everyday when I get up, and my words are "Will you
be enough Lord?"

Thank you Lord, for these words and the Love you consistently pour
into me. I'm honored that you honor me. To you Lord, all the Glory!

New beginnings indeed

Yesterday brought a great moment into my life, and not because of
something I did, but of what I confessed (stated from the depths of my
soul) that brought great glory and honor to my Lord and Savior; I
spoke the words "Many of us don't even know who we are, but I know now
why I exist."

As I further shared my life, my existence, my business which is God;
and sharing His Love, His Truth, His Word with all that the Lord
presents to me, I was overwhelmed at the thought that what I know,
feel, and have pumping out from my heart, God makes known and
available to everyone. That is an overwhelming sensation and Truth to
receive. All glory to God for such a blessing and Truth into my life.

The Journal of my heart

This morning as I brushed my teeth, I was speaking with my Father and going to Him for advice.

I asked Him, 'Father, am I to believe that all the mistakes I've made in my life have caused me to be where I am at now, and if so, should I have the enemy manipulate my thoughts in order to lead me astray? Or am I to believe that no matter what mistakes I've made in my past, your promise to have a plan to prosper me and give me a hope is exactly my present as you build my future.?


I received and then said, I will choose the latter to believe as your Word says it so beautifully in (Jeremiah 29:11-13).


Thank you my Lord for guiding and counseling me through your beautiful Spirit in a moment of confusion and weakness.


My surroundings may be of confusion and clutter, but you oh Lord are crystal clear to me. All praise be to you for being exactly what you said you were in Psalm 23 'The Lord is my Shepherd, I have all that I need...'

Amen!


*Do you ever have moments in your life that you struggle with uncertainty, and wonder if the direction you are going is the direction that is meant for you? If so, you are not alone.

And I illustrate these next words in complete humility, as they are words spoken to me by others:

•'I've never seen a stronger walk with God then yours.'

•'I've never known anyone to receive from God as you do.'

•I have even heard this one; 'when I look at you, I see God.'


I have illustrated these picture words to you for one reason. To show you that we all may be surrounded by many things bombarding us, that could easily build us up to something we don't need to be, but if we remain humble and look to God we will be guided correctly in life and nothing will carry us away from the correct direction.


The greatest advice to live by is this; "Remain humble in every circumstance, and [treat and do onto others as you would like to be treated."]

New beginnings

Today as I read a new blog post from a sister of mine in the faith of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ, I took in words of goodness that spoke of growth, and hardship, but most importantly lessons learned through God's guidance. His grace and mercies delivered her into 2011 stronger and wiser than last year. Which brings great joy to my heart.

The lessons we learn, and the breaking and pressing down of our imperfect ways in order to make room for God's perfect ways is always growth.

In great wisdom is a way to lead us along a bright future and a steady present. Therefore, I tell you, learn from your mistakes, take along with you great advice that leads to a stronger way of living, and look to the source of all these things; God through Jesus our Lord and Savior and confess words of victory into your life and enlarge your vision for a strong 2011, that will supercede 2010.

3 Things in my Heart and on my Mind

 

 

    When I was in a supervisor role at a company I previously worked at, I would lead by example, in order to get my team charged up for the day and the task at hand. There were three things I would say and show my team:

    Do all things with a sense of Purpose, Intention, and Urgency, then at the end of the day you can be reassured you did your best and no one could say otherwise.

 

[Purpose] means Let that be the goal for you and see it all the way through (not for make believe).

*So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing.
(1 Corinthians 9:26)

[Intention] means Saying and doing things to spark something in someone

*Jesus looked at them intently and said, "Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible." (Matthew 19:26)

[Urgency] means Be ready to go at all times (don't get caught sleeping).

*'These are your instructions for eating this meal: Be fully dressed, wear your sandals, and carry your walking stick in your hand. Eat the meal with urgency, for this is the Lord's Passover.' (Exodus 12:11)
